Ajolote is a group of Aztec dancers, also known as Mexica dancers, which initiated itself into existence at the North Hollywood Park Senior Citizen Center in North Hollywood. The creation and purpose of Ajolote, was to provide our community a space and learning environment to grow, evolve, and transform, through the experience created with Indigenous Native Mexica  Aztec songs, dance, storytelling, and silence.

The composition of Ajolote consists of Seniors, Adults, Young Adults, Youth, and Children. The group meets during the week  for songs and dance implemented with the rhythms of our drums and the movements of our energy.

We are ALL part of the same universal vibration; nothing exist without the relationship to one another.
