Biography
With passion, a unique style and sharpened finesse on the mic and on stage, Los Angeles-born lyricist, musician, poet and emcee Chemistry MC has been helping to spread messages of love, reality, authenticity and equality through the sounds of jungle, dnb, 140 and more with a vocal prowess that’s in a league of its own since 2015. Currently holding residencies with B-Side L.A.,Timeless, Yeska Beatz, Uncommon Being, Konkrete Jungle Los Angeles, Dislabel and I LoveLA/Ghetto Life, he’s been heard all over Southern California and beyond, electrifying crowds with a delivery and lyrical prowess that’s both urgent and ferocious yet entrancing, enlightening and unifying.
Chem has hosted for some of the absolute best in d&b, jungle and other various forms of bass music such as Makoto, Document One, Bcee, Hugh Hardie, Ed Rush, Loxy, Emalkay, Aries, Zero-T, Fixate, Coki, Harriet Jaxxon, Anna Morgan, Skeptical, Pola and Bryson, Commodo, Degs, Aphrodite, Commix, Bukez Finezt, DJ Madd, Submorphics, N-Type, Enigma Dubz and more, putting his talents on display with regular performances at Respect, LA’s longest-running drum & bass weekly, as well as having performed for other major players in the stateside scene including Resinate, Subfactory, Killahurtz, Xcellerated, Merge Off The Grid, S.D. Union, Upgrade and Big Booty Bass.
